You may recall my blog entry of 3 July when I referred to the absence of fairness on the part of the Western media towards Central Europe. I didn’t have long to wait. Charlemagne’s piece on the Polish presidency in The Economist (print edition July 9-15) is a copybook example of what I had in mind – a carping, querulous, ungenerous, unimaginative whine.
Don’t worry, there will more in the same vein.
